Cognac Leather Jacket and Suede Boots

Cognac leather jacket and suede boots

I talk about wardrobe staples fairly often on the blog, but the more my closet grows, I continue to find pieces that become new must-haves to complete any look. My newest additions that I’ve been wearing non-stop with just about everything is this cognac leather jacket and suede boots. Whether worn together or separately, these two pieces have been on heavy rotation for me. Because they’re both neutrals they work with literally everything. I get pretty ecstatic when I find great pieces like these at such great prices – both are under $100!

They are also tremendously versatile for strange weather transitions. Dallas has been freezing one day and in the 70s the next. So I’ve been wearing these suede boots with jeans and a tee or pairing this cognac leather jacket with shorts. It makes it easy to get more use out of your wardrobe when pieces are flexible.

I’m hoping the weather will be nice this weekend! Luckily Steven has Saturday off so we’re doing Valentine’s Day early Friday night and then spending the day adventuring on Saturday. So fingers crossed for sunny weather! What do you have planned this weekend? Since Steven is working on Sunday, I’m spending the day pampering myself. Hello rosé and bath time! Also a perfect day to use my favorite sheet mask – so awkward when you live with your boyfriend. Ya feel me? Ha!
