Cropped Knitwear

January 27, 2015

Sweater: Target-sold out (similar herehere + here) | Shirt: Target (perfect for layering!) | Jeans: 7 For All Mankind | Booties: JustFab (similar here + here) | Sunglasses: Karen Walker (also loving this style) | Earrings: Nordstrom (craving these) | Lips: MAC Lipstick in Lovelorn, NARS Lipgloss in Turkish Delight
The cropped knitwear trend isn’t something I was immediately on board with. Not because I feel self-conscious wearing anything cropped, but because I have such a short torso that the style of crop tops does absolutely nothing for me and can be incredibly unflattering. But add a longer white classic button-up underneath and you immediately get a different look. Layering is the easiest way to pull off a crop top without looking like you’re trying too hard. You can hardly even tell it’s a crop top with the button-up underneath! I love the style of this light weight cropped sweater and it easily transitions to spring since it isn’t a bulky knitwear.
And these booties? Well… my mouth almost dropped when I found them online. And for only $40? I almost didn’t believe it. They are the perfect grey bootie and almost identical to the Christian Louboutin pair I’ve been swooning over. I seriously haven’t stopped wearing them. And if you aren’t willing to commit to JustFab’s membership, check out this similar pair (also on sale!).
Thanks for stopping by!
