The brand E.L.F. (Eyes Lips Face) which was being sold at Target over the holidays was only said to be found on shelves through the month of December. But now E.L.F. products will permanetly be carried at Target stores! Although not all Target locations will carry the line, you can do a location search through the Target Website to find out which stores are actually carrying E.L.F.
Needless to say I was pretty excited when I walked into Target and found the E.L.F. section in one of the beauty aisles. This makes purchasing this brand much easier because the most expensive part of buying E.L.F. items is paying for shipping through their Website. But now you don’t have to!
I only ended up purchasing two things as I’m not really in need of anything from their line right now. Here is what I got:
E.L.F. Custom Compact- $1
The E.L.F. Custom Compact is only $1 and has 4 empty spots for eyeshadow pans. And while this really is intended for use with their eyeshadows, it actually fits the MAC eyeshadow pan refills perfectly, and even has a magnetic bottom built in. So instead of buying the MAC empty quads, which aren’t really that sturdy and break easily when on the go or traveling, I use this. The casing is made of a much harder and durable plastic than the MAC quads so it holds up better if I throw it in my purse. And it’s only $1. A pretty good deal in my book.
E.L.F. Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder-$1
The second thing I got is the E.L.F. Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder in Warm Tan. I’ve been meaning to try this for a while, since after all it is only a dollar. It’s a very pretty golden tan color but it has lots of shimmer. It isn’t necessarily glittery, it just has a very overpowering sheen to it so only a little should be applied to the cheeks. It looks beautiful as a golden highlighter over a matte bronzer such as BeneFit Hoola. And again, for only $1, it’s worth giving it a try.
