When it comes to hairstyles, I like to keep it simple – mostly because I have no choice with short hair. But that doesn’t mean it needs to be boring! It’s easy to switch things up a bit for a new Spring look with just a few simple tools. Chances are, you’re probably already pretty familiar with Goody hair products. But Goody has a new assortment of products that just hit Walgreens, including their newest beauty, the Clean Radiance Oval Cushion Brush!

When I buy products, I like them to not only be functional, but beautiful too. Yes, I’m a sucker for good design. So I was elated when I found Goody’s new Clean Radiance Brushes. Both the Clean Radiance Oval Cushion Brush and Paddle Brush feature copper bristles that massage the scalp and work through the hair to reduce buildup and restore your hair’s natural moisture balance. This means you don’t have to spend a fortune on a brush to get radiant, healthier looking hair.

And as if the prices on Goody products weren’t already low enough, Walgreens currently has all Goody products BOGO in-store! I would hurry because these gorgeous brushes are selling out quickly (I actually had to go to two different Walgreens to find one!). The BOGO sale ends June 4th. You can find these new Goody products in the hair accessories and brush section at Walgreens.

So let’s put these new Goody products to use! Today I’m creating an easy twist up-do using only 3 products: Clean Radiance Oval Cushion Brush, Simple Styles Hair Spin Pin, 2 ct. and SlideProof Silicone Black Ponytailers, 30ct.

I first smooth out my hair using the Clean Radiance Oval Cushion Brush to ensure I don’t have any flyaways or tangles.

Next, take the front section of your hair and twist while pulling in more sections of hair. Keep twisting until you can pull it to the back of your head. Do this to both sides. I hold on to the ends to make sure the twists stay tight and secure, as well.

Secure the twists and gather the rest of the hair with one hand. Take a SlideProof Silicone Black Ponytailer (use Clear if you have lighter hair) and wrap the Ponytailer around several times. On the final one, don’t pull the hair all the way through – create a small loop with the hair.

Take one of the Simple Styles Hair Spin Pin and twist it through one side of the “loop” to connect it to the rest of the hair, closest to the scalp. Do the same on the other side with the second Spin Pin. This will create the look of a twisted bun.

And voila! And easy twist up-do that takes less than five minutes.

I like how simple it is to do! I normally have a hard time achieving updos but I might have luck with those spin pins! #client
