Essie Nail Polish Resort 2010 collection

April 30, 2010

I recently picked up the mini set of Essie’s Resort 2010 Nail Polish Collection at Ulta, and only paid $12 (normally $17)! I found a $5 off any purchase of $10 or more coupon in a magazine so I used it towards the nail polish. Look how pretty the colors are!

From left to right: Turquoise & Caicos, Lapis of Luxury, Splash of Grenadine, Playa Del Platinum
Turquoise & Caicos is definitely my favorite. It is a color in between mint and jade and it’s beautiful. It is similar to China Glaze’s polish in For Audrey, a Tiffany & Co. blue, but isn’t exactly the same. Lapis of Luxury is a very pretty periwinkle color, Splash of Grenadine is a pinky-plum and Playa Del Platinum is a taupe-sand color.

The polishes go on sheer at first but can be made opaque with two to three coats. I actually like the formula of these polishes more than any of the other Essie polishes as well. I’m wondering if they changed the formula. Not too sure, but either way these polishes are great for spring and summer.
