{Face of the Day} Simple Holiday Look for Work

Appropriate makeup for work is always a difficult challenge for me, especially since I now work in a VERY conservative environment. It’s usually a boring combination of neutrals because adding a pop of color is hard to pull off while still trying to look professionl. But since the holidays are among us I figured what better a time to don a bold red lip. By keeping the rest of the makeup subtle, a red lip looks more classic and chic, rather than over the top or too loud. So here is a simple, holiday look I did for work yesterday inspired by this beautiful image of Lily Donaldson on the January 2011 cover of Harper’s Bazaar:
