MAC’s Fix + is a water-based spray that contains vitamins and minerals as well as other ingrediants such as green tea, chamomile, and cucumber, and has a scent of Sugi. It is meant to hydrate and rejuvenate, leaving fresh, glowy, radiant skin. Priced at $18 for 3.4 fl oz, this mineral-infused spray does far more than just hydrate the skin. Here are five ways to use MAC Fix +:
Get a glazed cheek. Spritz Fix + on a blush brush, particularly a stippling brush, and swirl over a mineralize blush. Lightly stipple onto the cheek. The Fix + enhances the shine and leaves the blush with a “glazed” effect on the cheek.
Achieve a natural radiance. Spritz a couple of pumps of Fix + over freshly clean skin before applying moisturizer or face primer to help give skin a natural radiance that will shine through foundation.
Get the most of your eyeshadows. Spray an eyeshadow brush with Fix + before applying eyeshadow or pigments to make the colors really pop and let the true color show. Use Fix + instead of water to have better staying power with your eyeshadows. This will also help you use less product since the color payoff will be better than if used by itself.
Give the face a dewey glow. Spray your foundation brush with Fix + before applying liquid foundation to leave your skin with a dewey glow. The spray helps sheer out the foundation a bit to give that sultry “wet” look to the skin and letting your natural shine show through.
Fake an airbrushed look. Once you’ve applied your foundation and powder, spray about two pumps from a distance on the face to get rid of the chalkiness most powders create and make your foundation look flawless and airbrushed.
