I think I’ve tried just about every razor under the rainbow. Never truly happy with the results, and always disappointed when it felt like I hadn’t shaved in days after only a mere 3 hours. I also have grown tired of the typical razor marketed towards women. There are no chic razors out there. NONE. Sure there are pink or lavender versions, but who wants that? I’m not a 12 year-old girl.
I first came across Harry’s razors in an ad in my sidebar while viewing my Yahoo junk emails. It was marketed towards men, but I was intrigued. I clicked on the ad (sucker, I know) and was taken to Harry’s website where for the first time in my life, I had fallen in love with a razor. It was beautiful, chrome and exactly what I had been looking for. The Winston made it to my cart without even bothering to see what else was available. I was just so excited to find such a pretty (yes, pretty) razor!
Why Harry’s razors are marketed towards men only is beyond me. Because this razor is perfection. Hands down the closest shave I’ve ever had. So you can kiss your crappy lavender razor goodbye, because Harry’s “mens” razors are the best.
For summer ready legs, I shave with The Winston (pictured above) after lathering up using Aesop Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser – smells incredible. I then like to give my legs some shine with The Body Shop’s Honey Bronze Shimmering Dry Oil. The oil absorbs immediately so you won’t be left feeling greasy, only glowing skin. When I’m looking a little pale and baring some leg, I also like to warm up my skin tone with Soleil Tan de Chanel, a cream-gel bronzer, with a large kabuki brush.
Harry’s sells their razor handles individually and then you can purchase the blades in different quantities. The blades really don’t cost any more than what you would pay for a pack of Gillette razors at CVS. And you get free shipping when you spend $10 or more in the US. So it’s not a bad deal, especially for beautiful razor that gives you an amazing shave.
