La Ventana

The window.

Nothing beats getting some fresh air and dining casually on a patio. While I can’t wait for summer, I’m thoroughly enjoying the warm, yet breezy temps in Dallas right now.
Finding good Mexican food has been a struggle for Steven and I since we moved here. Before you Dallasites get crazy, hear me out. We’re used to a different kind of Mexican food. And when you’re from Southern California, born and raised, good street tacos become a sort of comfort food. I mean, Taco Tuesday is practically a state holiday for crying out loud. So finding delicious, no-frills-no-fuss tacos was a challenge – well, other than Fuel City (yes, we’re talking gas station tacos here).
La Ventana has that Southern California laid-back vibe that almost makes you feel like you just stepped into Mexico for a quick bite to eat. I love that – a getaway within a city.

Top: Gap | Skirt: Choies – under $20! | Heels: Windsor | Sunglasses: J.Crew Factory – on sale for $15! | Clutch: Forever 21 | Bracelets: Stella & Dot, Bauble Bar | Ring: Bauble Bar | Lips: NARS Lipgloss in Nude Scene
For those of you who live in or or just visiting Dallas, make sure to stop by La Ventana for a delicious lunch and casual patio dining – hands down the best tacos in Dallas, TX. This Southern California girl approves!
Happy Friday!

This is my favorite taco place in Dallas! Girl after my own heart. <3 Can't beat the five dollar margaritas! Love your blog. I found it on Stephanie Drenka's website!

I'm loving this skirt. The print is so cool and bright! The crips white blouse you added was a perfect touch.

Right? It's my favorite! I pull it out every year for spring. Luckily Choies still carries it!
