MAC Too Fabulous Haul and Swatches

March 16, 2010

I really liked the Too Fabulous Collection; simple, easy and realistic. I only purchased three items from the collection, so clearly I practiced some major self control. lol

The Cremesheen Glasses, which are now being made permanent, are great everyday lipglosses that are more sheer in color and have a thinner consistency so they aren’t as thick and sticky as MAC Lipglasses. The colors put out in this collection were very neutral and pretty and I got one of the repromoted colors Partial to Pink, a creamy light yellow-based pink.

The lip pencils were also must haves as they released colors that were completely different than those in the permanent collection. I only got Trimmed in Pink because I needed a bright pink that isn’t as bold as the Magenta lip pencil but is brighter than the neutral pinks.

I wasn’t planning on buying any of the Mineralize Blushes because I generally prefer matte blushes but one color in particularly caught my eye: Sun & Moon. It’s a very pretty, and shimmery, swirl of bronzed apricot and warm pink. I’m actually really liking it, especially when used with the MAC 188 brush to lightly stipple it on.
