The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream Review

A cream that transforms your skin while you sleep? Um, yes please! I’m no stranger to skincare and “miracle” creams and while I have a few I stick to, nothing can compare to the results I’ve seen with The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream (whoa, that’s a mouth full).

The Body Shop kindly sent me their new Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream to try and share with my readers and while I’m always grateful for items sent my way, I’m rarely excited. Brands send me products almost weekly and it can get overwhelming (wah wah, #bloggerproblems, I know). But I always like to try everything at least once to decide if it’s worth sharing.

I was pleasantly surprised at the light, creamy texture and even more surprised with how well it absorbed. Normally it’s a struggle to find the right combination in a cream that is potent, but still absorbs properly. There are heavier creams that just sort of sit on the face and eventually get all over my pillowcase, never absorbing into the skin. And then there are creams that are light in texture, but absorb so quickly that it doesn’t seem to do anything for my normal to dry skin. So I was elated when the Sleeping Cream felt light on the face, but seemed to stay well moisturized through the night.

The next morning, I could not believe how soft and plump my skin felt. You know that saying “smoother than a baby’s bottom” where you think, “gross, why would I want my face to look/feel like a baby’s bottom?” Well… I have no other eloquent way to put it other than your face will literally feel like a baby’s bottom. *Insert hysterically laughing emoji here*

At night, I remove my makeup with micellar water, exfoliate with a konjac sponge and then liberally apply the Sleeping Cream on my face, neck and décolletage before going to bed. The cream absorbs quickly into the skin, but leaves it feeling nourished well into the morning. And thankfully it doesn’t leave any residue on my pillow. And at $39 for a night cream that has proven results, I think it’s safe to say it’s a no brainer.

I’ve been using the Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Sleeping Cream for over a week and a half now and I can’t believe how good my skin looks! I’ve never really had serious skin issues other than the usual dryness, but this cream really makes your skin look like you’ve just had a facial. We’re talking next level healthy-looking skin. With three precious seed oils known for their revitalizing and repairing properties, and seven powerful essential oils to calm and radiate the skin this cushiony cream is a new holy grail for me.
