I have a serious weakness for boots. And no, we’re not talking about UGGs here. I’m talking over the knee and four and a half inch heels- glamorous boots. Although there is a fine line between chic and streetwalker (an ode to Joan Rivers on this one), when done right, they can change an entire look. In this look, I’ve paired an otherwise preppy style on top with some not-so conservative OTK leather boots. Keeping the look modest maintains a chic appearance while the boots add a playful, vixen edge.
I’m partial to leather, but for practical reasons. You wear boots when it’s cold out, most likely raining or in some cases snowing, and leather (if treated correctly) holds up better in these climates. Suede is a much more delicate material and if worn in these types of harsher weather conditions are likely to be ruined. And let’s face it- boots aren’t cheap. So if I’m going to spend some serious dough on a pair of boots, I want them to last for more than one season. Although I have my heart set on these beauties, I know I’m better off purchasing leather or a less expensive, but equally gorgeous pair such as these.

Hi, I had read that these are synthetic leather boots. How have the boots been wearing? Is the synthetic leather soft? Do you have any updated pictures to show them paired since your purchased them? I am curious how they are wearing as I do like them, but not sure since they are not true leather. Are you able to comment? Thank you!
