{Review} Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters
There has been a lot of buzz about Revlon’s new addition to lipsticks and I couldn’t help but get my hands on a few to try out. The ColorBurst Lip Butters have the pigmentation of a lipstick but the feel of a chap stick or lip balm. Seeing as I am a lip balm fiend, I couldn’t wait to give these lippies a try.
I only purchased two shades, Lollipop and Tutti Frutti, to start off with since I wasn’t sure how I would like them.
The feel of these lip butters are awesome. I love the idea that you can put it on like a lip balm yet it adds just the right amount of color. Most tinted lip balms tend to be too sheer and have hardly any color to them, but these are very pigmented. They are simple and effortless to wear; no mirror needed here! And since I’ve adopted a “less is more” motto for makeup, these have been the perfect addition. I keep them both in my purse at all times so I always have them to throw on when I’m in hurry and can easily match either one with what I’m wearing.
Tutti Frutti & Lollipop

Tutti Frutti is the perfect coral shade. It appears to bright orange, almost similar to Vegas Volt by MAC, but it is a lot more sheer since it is a lip butter. The end result over natural lips is a soft coral hue, perfect for spring and summer. Lollipop is a soft fuchsia which is great when I want a pop of color without going overboard. It has the vibrancy of a hot pink lipstick without the harsh pigmentation.

I highly recommend giving the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butters a try. They really are great and I haven’t been able to find anything else that is as moisturizing as these lip butters with enough color pigmentation. You can find them at Target, Ulta and any drugstore for just under $7 each. Check out your local weekly ads for coupon deals too!
