I am LOVING Rimmel’s Lasting Finish Pro Nail Polish. They have a great range of shades to choose from and it is affordable at around $4 a bottle, half the price of most expensive nail polishes such as Essie or OPI. And the formula is just as good as the pricier polishes, if not better!
The most unique aspect to the Lasting Finish Pro polishes is the brush. It is a very wide brush, about double the width of a normal polish brush. And while one might think this would result in clumsier nail polish sessions, it actually makes applying polish easier, and quicker! The brush allows for a broader application of polish on the nail so you don’t have to apply several strokes to cover the whole nail. It does it in about one or two swipes allowing for a more precise application without getting polish all over your fingers from having to apply so many times on each nail.
This NOTD features the Rimmel polish in Steel Grey (color 270). It is a muddy, mauve-ish grey with a hint of lavender and isn’t your typical nail varnish color, which is why I was drawn to it. It is a shade in between OPI by Sephora’s Metro Chic and OPI’s you Don’t Know Jacques. It’s definitely a new favorite of mine. The Steel Grey is very opaque, minimizing the amount of coats you have to paint. I only did one thick coat followed by a thinner coat to get the true color. Lastly, it was topped with Seche Vite Fast Drying Top Coat, of course, which truly made the polish last for up to ten days, which is what the Rimmel polish claims to do.
Have you tried the Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro Nail Polish? Did you like the unique brush?
