Shopping with Cato Fashions

July 12, 2015

There seems to be this presumption in the fashion world that good style has to be expensive or designer. I honestly couldn’t disagree more. It’s no secret on this blog that I love a good bargain. I would rather get more for my money than splurge on one expensive item.

Cato Fashions, a fashion retailer that sells “on-trend, high quality and exclusive styles… all at an exceptional value”, is a one-stop shop for great affordable pieces to add to your wardrobe. From accessories, to shoes, to a wide variety of clothing, this store really does have everything without the cringing price tags.

Cato most recently added a brand new store location in Dallas (at the Glen Oaks Village for those of you Dallasites) and I was ecstatic to make a visit.

The store resembles a mini version of a department store, but isn’t as overwhelming. The clothing selection was on trend, seasonal and easy to mix and match by keeping similar styles and colors blocked together for an easy shopping experience. As you make your way to the back of the store you’ll find jewelry to go along with your clothing selections, handbags, clutches and even a fun selection of shoes all before making it to the fitting room.

The customer service is also on a completely different level at Cato. You’d think you were walking into a high-end department store with the level of service provided, but without the pretentious feel. The store associates were both charming and helpful and it was almost refreshing to be welcomed into a store (a customer service practice that has sadly lost its panache in most retailers).

I ended up leaving with two gorgeous necklaces and a clutch that resembled a designer version I had been eyeing. All perfect for summer. Did I mention everything was under $20? Quite the steal if you ask me. And as if Cato didn’t already have low prices, there were quite a few good finds on clearance making it even less than the original low price!

I plan on returning to get these distressed black shorts (on sale for $15!), these slingback flats (identical to a MUCH more expensive version) and this tassel cross body bag.

Bottom line, if you haven’t checked out Cato Fashions yet, you probably should. And if there isn’t a store near you, you can shop online at their Website here. They even offer free shipping to stores!

You can also visit Cato Fashions on their social media channels via Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter.

A big thank you to Cato Fashions for sponsoring this post! All opinions are my own.
