Afte roaming the beauty aisles once again at Target, I finally made a decision to pick up the Sonia Kashuk Synthetic Flat Blusher Brush since they are usually always sold out.
This brush is the ultimate blush brush and blends like you would not believe. The flat top and incredibly soft, dense bristles allow for just enough color transfer and then blends it into the skin beautifully. By stipplying blush onto the cheeks and then lightly blending it in circular motions, your cheeks are left with a gorgeous glow. The small size of the head allows for precise application onto the apples of the cheeks or even in the hallows of the cheeks to contour. And words cannot even describe how soft this brush is. I am loving this brush. It works great with both cream and powder blushes, but that is not all this brush is good for.
It also makes a great foundation brush! Because of the dense brush head and flat top it beautifully blends in foundations. And because it is synthetic it works excellent with liquid foundations. Just stipple the foundation all over the face and then in circular motions blend in the foundation to create a seamless, airbrushed look. The size of the brush allows for proper blending in tight areas such as under the eyes, along the hairline and around the crevices of the nose. I love this brush so much, I actually might just go back and buy another one so that I can have one for foundation and one specifically for blush.
This brush even works well to apply highlighter along the high cheek bones. It blends out liquid highlighter, such as BeneFit’s High Beam, extremely well and enhances that natural glow. Plus, the unique shape of the handle allows for a sturdy grip and precise application.
I highly recommend trying out the Sonia Kashuk Synthetic Flat Blusher Brush. And even though it is a little bit on the higher side for a “drugstore” item, the quality screams designer brand so the $15 price tag makes it worth purchasing. Give it a try, that is if you can find it!
