The Swing of Things

May 4, 2015

I’m finally debuting my new short do on the blog this week. In case you missed the post on getting my hair chopped, you can read all about my experience here. I am loving the convenience of the short bob and how much easier my hair is to deal with now that I don’t have all that length to style. It literally took me 10 minutes to do my hair the other day – an all-time record for me! After styling it a few different ways, I’m getting the hang of it and what works and what doesn’t. Let me know if you’re interested in a short bob hair styling post in a comment!
Along with getting used to my new haircut, Steven and I are finally starting to feel more comfortable in Dallas, and it’s beginning to feel more and more like home. Making friends and meeting new people is always the hardest part and being so deep rooted in Southern California, we knew this was going to be a challenge for us. But now that we’ve been here a year we’ve started making groups of friends and feeling more comfortable with the idea of being “Texans”.

That skirt <3 I am in love. I've been looking for a pencil skirt with a ruffled hem. It is flirty and classy at the same time!
