This week’s weekly edit is all about making a statement in neutrals. I’ve been drawn to minimal, clean lines lately and have been filling my closet with neutrals, especially for fall. I find I get more wear out of a neutral color palette: black, white, grey and nudes. It also makes getting dressed in the morning a no brainer – everything goes with everything.

These block heeled mules have been on my list for a while and they’re finally on sale! I love that they transition from summer to fall and pair perfectly with midi dresses and a chic trench. And for those of you on the hunt for the perfect bag this season, but not willing to spend a small fortune, look into this Chloé Faye alternative. Not too shabby right?

Also, if you haven’t smelled Jo Malone’s Wood Sage and Sea Salt cologne, run to your nearest Nordstrom. The smell is incredible. Reminds me of home (California), yet doesn’t smell overly “beachy”. I like that it has a nod to men’s cologne without making you smell like, you know, you’re wearing men’s cologne. I’m not typically drawn to anything fruity or overly girlie, so this was the perfect scent for me.

I think my entire closet is in neutrals 🙂 Can’t get enough of them! Love the long dress for this season.

LOVE the dress and the nail polish! Black is one of my favorite colors, especially on my nails 😉
