Travel Style

I always struggle when packing for a short trip. I end up bringing far more than necessary, but after moving to Dallas and flying back and forth to California, I’ve learned to master the art of light packing – who has time to check bags anyway? I like to hit the ground running.

I find light layers and basics truly are the way to go. A pair of my favorite jeans (these distressed skinnies from Target have been my go-to lately), light weight button-up and a pair of comfy flats – or loafers in this case. Easy peasy. Throw in another tee, light weight jacket and a pair of simple strap heels and you’re ready for anything. It really doesn’t need to be more complicated than that.

Also, this suitcase is incredible in case anyone is in the market!

What are your go-to travel faves?

I love this outfit! I definitely always pack my suitcase with basic pieces that can be interchangeable, and a couple fun dresses for events! Love the suitcase!
