When the temperatures begin to really drop, I basically live in leggings and jeans. But I get bored of the same ol’, same ol’ every day. So I like to switch it up for dressier days with skirts. The problem is I hate being cold (California girl problems).
One of the easiest ways to wear skirts in the winter is to pair them with chunky, warm sweaters. I’m a huge fan of these mohair-blend sweaters from H&M for their baggier style and instant warmth. This tribal and mohair look is one of my favorites for work or a nice dinner because I can change it up from the usual pants and coat combo. I find I actually get more use out of my skirts in the winter than I do in spring or summer because I find more to pair them with. And let’s face it, I have more sweaters in my closet than I do t-shirts so this combo is perfect for me. Still not warm enough? Just throw on a coat! Layering is key in the winter.
How do you switch up your winter style? Do you find you rotate the same things the whole season?
