I am loving that the temps have finally dropped. Mostly because I’m officially ready for fall – aka my closet is now fully prepared. I’ve been surfing the web for the last few months for some amazing coats and sweaters.
I currently can’t stop wearing this coat that I scored for a hell of a deal. It pairs well with my mostly black, grey and white wardrobe. I’ve been focusing on a “capsule wardrobe” for this season, meaning I’ve stuck with a general theme to what I’ve been purchasing. The benefit of this is that everything will coordinate together and it makes for easy dressing in the morning when I have to dress for both work and blogging events on the same day. I’m sure you’ll start to pick up on a common trend in my outfit posts for the rest of the month.
The first piece I decided to purchase for my fall capsule wardrobe was this maxi vest. Quite the find at Nordstrom Rack. I’ve been eyeing a longer, structured vest for a while now but hadn’t had any luck finding an affordable version – most were made from cheap, flimsy material and just didn’t layer properly. I was ecstatic when I found this high-end style and even more delighted when I read the less than $50 price tag. Score!
